MY SKINCARE BACKGROUND:
Once upon a time, I was a serious skincare junkie. I was infatuated with in-depth blogs that meticulously analyzed product ingredients and spent more money on skincare than anything else in my life. I even took a second job at multi-brand retailers like SpaceNK and Sephora just to immerse myself in the world of skincare.
After over a decade of obsession and eight years in the beauty industry, I have evolved. I now focus exclusively on high-end, all-natural products. If you’re into nontoxic products that feel like luxury, my product recommendations are your guide.
MY SKINCARE PHILOSOPHY:
✩ SKINCARE IS BOTH INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL. To achieve healthy skin, you must care for it from the inside out, not just the outside in. Maintaining proper hydration, nutrition, sleep, and stress-levels are part of caring for your skin.
✩ READ THE LABELS. The skincare industry has incredibly loose regulations in the U.S. Many ingredients proven to be harmful to your long-term health are legal. It’s your job to protect yourself by reading the labels of products before you purchase them.
✩ ALWAYS CHOOSE YOUR LONG-TERM HEALTH. If an ingredient is questionable or proven harmful to your long-term health, the product is an instant no. Even if it promises out-of-this-world results.
✩ CONSISTENCY IS NON-NEGOTIABLE. Never skip your daily or nightly skincare routine. Ever. There are literally no exceptions to this rule!
✩ VARIETY IS HOW YOU MAXIMIZE RESULTS. Do not use the same product for more than sixty days. Your skin will become tolerant to the product and its efficacy will decline.
✩ MINIMIZE MAKEUP USAGE. If you must wear makeup, wear as little as possible and remove it as quickly as possible. It does more harm than good.
✩ TREAT YOURSELF LIKE ROYALTY. Turn your skincare routine into an indulgent, luxurious experience as often as possible. It’s not just skincare. It’s self-care! You deserve to feel good.

Organic Calendula Cleansing Oil from Blue Beautifly: This organic oil cleanser is luxury in a bottle. It feels so silky, smells so delicious, and leaves your skin soft, supple, and radiant. Cleansing Oil from Valentia: A very affordable yet effective cleanser. Great for removing all make up (including waterproof). It is important to use a hot, wet cloth to wipe away the cleanser and properly remove all make up, dirt, and oil. This does not leave a greasy finish but your skin still feels nourished. Soothing Spirulina Face Mask from Primally Pure: This is the mask to use when your skin needs a complete reset. Use this before bed and you will wake up with a completely clear yet deeply nourished complexion. The raw honey base provides enzymes, minerals, and humectants. Luxury Beauty Serum from Saint Jane: They weren’t lying when they said luxury! The product packaging Saint Jane offers is some of the most beautiful packaging I have ever seen from a skincare line. This particular oil-serum is perfect for anyone with dry, acne-prone skin because it hydrates while also lessening the appearance of pores. I love that it has anti-aging benefits: it reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles while creating a more even, bright skin tone. If you’re not ready to invest $125 for the full size product, you can test the 4ml size first for just $26.
Vitamin C Glow Drops Brightening Serum from Saint Jane: Another luxurious Saint Jane product has made my list. This fresh-pressed serum claims to “deliver radiant, glass skin” in its marketing. It’s true! The texture is similar to a light-weight oil but it is perfect for all skin types. If you consider yourself to be oil-prone or acne-prone you may not need a moisturizer in addition to this serum. The Vitamin C Glow Drops acts as a resurfacer. This means it will remove dead skin cells, reduce breakouts, and leave you with a glowing complexion. In all honesty, I usually use this product when I am spending time in the sun daily to prevent dark spots and discoloration but their website recommends caution when using this product and exposing your skin to the sun.

Soothing Serum from Primally Pure: If you have dry, sensitive skin this oil serum is for you. It leaves the skin feeling hydrated and helps to calm rashes, eczema, psoriasis, or other irritations. This blend of anti-inflammatory compounds, essential fatty acids, minerals, and amino acids heals at a cellular level to restore the skin barrier, strengthen skin tissue, decrease inflammation + redness, and rebuild hydration. Best Skin Ever - Seabuckthorn from Living Libations: This multi-use oil went viral amongst bloggers back when I lived in NYC and I’ve been a raving fan ever since. It can be used as an oil cleanser, exfoliator, and face + body moisturizer. I love to use it as the final step of my skincare routine to seal in moisture. This formula is packed with omega fatty acids, vitamins, lipids, and hundreds of bioactive compounds. I’ve noticed it helps clear up my skin when my pores are clogged and gives me a beautiful glow when I wake up in the morning. Also, it smells delicious.

Goji Berry Moisturizer from Blue Beautifly: High quality, organic moisturizers are difficult to find and this is probably the best one I’ve ever used. It is light weight yet still deeply nourishing, which makes it perfect for all skin types*. It is rich in antioxidants, promotes a more luminous complexion naturally, reduces the appearance of fine lines + wrinkles, and leaves the skin feeling firm, smooth, and more hydrated. Sun Dew Vitamin D Creme from Living Libations: The Vitamin D3 in this formula makes this perfect for all seasons! The all natural ingredients are incredibly soothing and moisturizing. The texture is pretty light weight so if you have very dry skin, you may need to lay with an extra oil. I recommend pairing it with the Best Skin Ever Seabuckthorn Oil (also from Living Libations). One thing that is pretty exciting about the brand Living Libations is almost all of their products come in travel sizes. EYE LASHES + EYE BROWS
Lash & Brow Serum from Valentia: This is one of the most difficult products to find with a natural formula. Most lash + brow serums are pretty toxic (which is alarming because of how close to the eyes you put them). Even though this one is only $15, it definitely works. I had a mysterious bald patch on my eyebrows for about two years. After six weeks of consistently using this product, my eyebrow hairs started to grow back and my eye lashes were much fuller. SUN CARE
Everybody Loves The Sun Zinc Lotion from Living Libations: Nontoxic sun care for the face is one of the hardest products to find because most formulas can clog the pores! Not this one. This formula is light weight (you barely need any to cover your entire face), feels like silk, and contains nourishing ingredients. One thing to note is it a truly all natural, nontoxic formula so the zinc does take a minute to rub in (if you don’t there can be a white film left behind)!
